Thunder in the Mountains

August 23, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

$25

“Get your motor runnin’…” And, get ready to head out on the scenic highways throughout the North Georgia Mountains!

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with our friends at the Lumpkin, Union, Towns and White County Sheriff’s Offices to bring you another “3-hour tour” for the Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes!

This Law Enforcement escorted ride will begin at the Hall County Courthouse, cruising northward and wrapping around the Chattahoochee National Forest, before ending in Hall County’s Laurel Park with a down home cookout!

Pre-registration is already underway, through 8/8/14, at $25.00 for each driver and $5.00 per additional rider! After that date, you can register through the day of our ride at no additional cost; however, late registrants are not guaranteed a hospitality packet.

The route will be posted on our Facebook event page, soon. So, keep checking back. Share this along to your friends! We also have lots of great stuff to giveaway to our “Easy Riders”, a 50/50 drawing, a rockin’ DJ and more! All proceeds will benefit the Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Deputy Chad Mann or Community Service Clerk Tamara Smith at (770)531-6900. You may also email them at cmann@hallcounty.org or tssmith@hallcounty.org.
